No Bids

An attempt to improve the Iron Horse River Trail in Montpelier is stalled after no bids were received for the project. The village got $1.2 million dollars in grants from the Ohio Department of Transportation for the project, which would fully fund it. Officials reached out to two companies that had expressed interest in bidding on the project, who both said the engineer’s estimate was low. Officials say…with a new estimate, the village will try to re-bid the project.
