An Archbold man was recently sentenced to 46 months in prison in Defiance County and Wood County on multiple sex charges. According to the Bryan Times, Michael J. Vasko, 41, previously pleaded guilty to two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and two counts of importuning, all fifth-degree felonies, in Wood County Common Pleas Court. Vasko was classified as a Tier 1 sex offender and sentenced to 12 months at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections for each of the four counts. Three of the 12-month prison sentences will be served concurrently to each other for a total of 12 months, and the fourth 12-month sentence will be served consecutively for a total of 24 months in prison. He will receive credit for 16 days already served and was ordered to pay court costs.
