A small barn was destroyed by fire Saturday afternoon in Defiance County.
Firefighters were called just after noon on Saturday to Flory Road where the building, owned by Eric and Amanda Westhoven, was fully engulfed when they arrived.
There were no reports of anyone hurt in the fire, however a dog that had been in the building was taken to a veterinarian. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but is believed to be electrical in nature. Damage was estimated between $40,000-$50,000.
