Dale Houston, 63

Dale L. Houston, 63 years, of Angola, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in his residence.  Dale was born June 6, 1950 in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of the late Bee and Melba June (Jones) Houston.  He was a 1968 graduate of Montpelier High School, Montpelier, Indiana.  He then attended Ball State University and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University.  He was an Addiction Counselor, working mainly in the Marion, Indiana area.  He attended New Life House of Worship in Garrett, Indiana.  He enjoyed constructing model cars, truck and planes.

Surviving is his daughter, Amber Houston of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Nikki Bowman of Garrett, Indiana and one brother, Benny Houston of Bluffton, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Leslie Houston and one sister, Rebecca Houston.

There will be no visitation and memorial services for Dale L. Houston will be held at a later date at New Life House of Worship in Garrett, Indiana.  Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home & Crematory, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton, Indiana.
