Surviving is her husband, Wayne Sweet of Hicksville; two children, Robert “Rick” (Sharon) Sweet of North Manchester, Indiana, and Nancy (Timothy) Sweet-Holp of Albany, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” Sweet of Hicksville; four grandchildren, Austin (Caty) Sweet of Hicksville, Adrienne (Eric) Beckman of St. Marys, Ohio, Jacob (Kelsey) Sweet of North Manchester, Indiana, and Aimee (Rene Rodriquez Jr.) Wulff of Bryan, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Kaelyn Wulff, Bryleigh Sweet, Bentley Sweet, Cora Beckman and Faye Beckman; and two sisters-in-law, Marybelle Timbrook and Patricia Timbrook, both of Hicksville. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Timbrook; two sons, Ronald and Randy Sweet; three brothers, James Timbrook, Basil Timbrook and Ralph Timbrook; and one sister Helen Timbrook.
Visitation for Martha E. Sweet will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 3:30 – 6:30 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio, where recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial for Martha will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 100 Antwerp Drive, Hicksville, Ohio, with Father Dan Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan, Indiana.
