Richard Greek, 76 years of Camden, Michigan, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana, with his family at his side. Richard was born November 12, 1948, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph Edwin and Betty Rose (Kintner) Greek. He was a 1966 graduate of North Central High School. Richard continued his education attending college in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He married Linda E. North on December 14, 1979, in Kunkle, Ohio, and she survives. Richard was an owner-operator of his own truck. After driving for himself, Richard ended his career driving for Roadway, retiring in 2015 with 50 years of service to the trucking industry. Richard enjoyed boating, reading, bird watching and traveling with his wife, Linda.

Surviving is his wife Linda of Camden, Michigan; children, Tracy (Luke) Fitch of Camden, Michigan, Shelby (Steve) Rathbun of Hillsdale, Michigan and Brian (Tammy) Greek of Ashley, Ohio; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and nephews; one brother, Raymond Greek of Edgerton, Ohio, and one sister, Connie (Randy) Stadtfeld of Carpentersville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edwin Greek. Richard will be joining his two favorite Shih Tzus; Zada and Xandar in Heaven.

To honor Richard’s wishes, he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hamilton, Indiana.
