Brian L. Washler, 61, of Butler, Indiana, passed away suddenly, Monday, March 10, 2025, at his residence. Brian was born on August 28, 1963, in Auburn, Indiana, son of the late Delbert Washler and Marjorie Lott. He was a 1981 graduate of Eastside High School. Brian married Amy L. Bowers on July 19, 2014, in Butler, Indiana, and she survives. Brian was a former employee of Auburn Foundry in Auburn, Indiana and was a lifelong farmer, tending to the needs of his herd of cattle. Throughout his life, Brain enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, farming, and making maple syrup. He was there to help anyone when it was needed. Brian recently gained a new hobby on Tik Tok where he became famously known in the Farmtok community as “The Grumpy Farmer”.

Surviving is his loving wife of 11 years, Amy Washler of Butler; four children, Corinda (Kenneth) Baum of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Scott (Jami) McKean of Butler, Indiana, Mel (Misty) McKean of Auburn, Indiana, and Samantha (Travis) Herman of Auburn, Indiana; honorary son, Rod Derickson; five grandchildren, Vince Traina, Korbyn McKean, Collin “Smidge” McKean, Lilly Sperry, and Oliver Herman; two honorary grandchildren, Braelyn and Kassidy Sholl; three sisters, Judith (Roger) Moughler of Butler, Indiana, Ann Washler of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Nancy (John) Scoville of Butler, Indiana. Brian was preceded in death by his parents and his son Dan McKean.

Visitation for Brian L. Washler will be held Monday, March 17, 2025, from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio 43526. A Celebration of life will immediately follow in the funeral home beginning at 1:00 P.M. with Rodney Snyder, celebrant officiating.
