Williams Co. Republican announces candidacy for Ohio statehouse seat.

A Williams County Republican has announced her candidacy for a Statehouse seat that will be vacated by Jim Hoops of Napoleon at the end of 2026. Patti Rockey, Williams County recorder and chairperson of the Williams County Republican Party, has announced that she will run for the 81st Ohio House District seat that will be on the ballot next year. The 81st district seat, being held by Hoops in his fourth, two-year term, includes Fulton, Henry and Williams counties.
