State Patrol investigating serious injury crash involving wrong way driver.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash involving a commercial vehicle and a sport utility vehicle.
The crash occurred on Sunday, October 19th, at approximately 2:46 a.m., on northbound Interstate 75 near the milepost 198 in Northwood, Wood County.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a Freightliner tractor-trailer combination operated by Kewal Singh, 44, Ontario, Canada, was northbound when it was struck by a Chevrolet Equinox, operated by Jose Perez, 29, Toledo, that was driving southbound in the northbound lanes. After impact, the Freightliner went off the left side of the road, where it struck the median cable.
Perez and his two passengers, Walter Orellana, 34, and Ervin Ordonez, 22, both of Toledo, were transported to Mercy Health- St. Vincent Medical Center. Perez had non life-threatening injuries. Orellana and Ordonez sustained critical injuries in the crash. Singh had non life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. This incident remains under
investigation.
