Defiance Area Foundation awards grant to Hicksville Historical Society.

The Defiance Area Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 grant to the Hicksville Historical Society to support restoration efforts at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hicksville, including repairs to the building’s original stained-glass windows and entry doors. Constructed in 1875, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is the oldest church in Hicksville and is recognized as a historic landmark.
