Jarad J. Sharp, 26 years, of Sherwood, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 due to injuries received in an automobile accident. Jarad was born August 26, 1987 in Bryan to James A. Sharp and Tracy M. Dalton. He was employed by Manufactured Housing, Inc. for the past two years. Prior to this he worked for Contact Castings in Auburn, Indiana. He was a member of the Steelworker’s Local 1701. Jarad enjoyed go-kart racing, his Ford Mustang. He had just purchased his first “Bomber” dirt racing car.
Surviving is his loving companion and mother of his children, Kaylie Loveless of Sherwood; three children, Cayden, Madisen and Colten sharp all at home; five siblings, Jenise Winnie of Bryan, Jayden Dalton of Bryan, Amanda (Rob) Radel of Hicksville, Kerisha Sharp of Sherwood and Derrek Sharp of Sherwood; maternal grandmother, Fonda Keys of Sherwood; paternal grandparents, Robert (Melissa) Satterlee of Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald Dalton, Robert and Marie Sharp and Sharon Bright.
Visitation for Jarad J. Sharp will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood. Funeral services for Jarad will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 in the funeral home with Pastor Paul Valdez officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested those planning an expression of sympathy to consider a memorial fund to be established for his children through any Huntington Bank.
