Patricia A. Rashley, age 76, of Wauseon, passed away Saturday morning, May 17, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born in Delta, Ohio on September 16, 1937, the daughter of Faye and Nancy (Williams) Wolcott. On December 14, 1956 she married Clifford Rashley, and he preceded her in death in 1996.
Patricia was a member of the First Christian Church in Wauseon and a life member of the Wauseon American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her crafts and had made quilts for each of her grandchildren. She treasured the times she spent at their cottage at Devil’s Lake and also enjoyed having coffee every morning with friends.
Surviving are her children, Tom (Bonnie) Rashley of Manitou Beach, MI, Kevin (Bonnie Meyer) Rashley of Cottonwood, AZ, Susan (Lowell) Barbee of Bryan, Debra (Peter) Villalovos of Wauseon, and Beth (Macy) Tschappat of Portage, OH; daughter-in-law, Helen Rashley of Fayette; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Carolee Wolcott of Marshall, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jeff Rashley, and brothers, Stanley, Kenneth, Bernerd, and Edward Wolcott.
Visitation for Patricia will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Wauseon. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the church, with Pastor Mitch Maxted and Pastor Mary Jo Bray, officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, the First Christian Church or the Wauseon American Legion Auxiliary. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
