Wauseon Home Explosion

At least one per­son was sent to the hos­pi­tal when a home blew up Mon­day after­noon in Wauseon.

Fire crews say at least five peo­ple were in the home on Clin­ton Street when it exploded around 4:30pm.

Ini­tial reports indi­cate that a gas leak was behind the explo­sion, which caused the evac­u­a­tion of the imme­di­ate area around the home.

Fire crews from Wauseon, Arch­bold and Delta all were called out.
