Lightning Strikes House

A light­ning bolt struck a Ful­ton County home Tues­day morn­ing.

Fire­fight­ers were called out early yes­ter­day morn­ing just before 4a.m. to the home of Michael and Kath­leen Fis­cher on County Road S in Amboy Town­ship after light­ning struck the home. Fire dam­aged the back side of the house and dam­age was ini­tially esti­mated to be between $70,000 and $100,000 to the two-story home. There were no reports of any injuries.
