A dedication ceremony at Four County Career Center, including an open house for residents of Williams, Defiance, Fulton, and Henry counties is planned for Aug. 21st, when visitors will have their first chance to view the work.
A $4 million project, beginning in 2012, involved three phases. Initially, a new drive and bus pick-up/drop-off area were constructed on the east side of the facility.
Then work got underway to remove the front canopy and begin site work for the building.
The third and final phase involved a new front entrance with increased security, plus two classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, office space and a school nurse’s office and clinic.
Voters from the four-county area approved a tax levy in 2012 for the construction of the addition.
