The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting a high visibility traffic blitz that will begin this Friday and end Oct. 26. The sheriff’s office will be working this blitz in correspondence with the Wauseon, Archbold and Delta high school homecoming football games and dances, with deputies on the lookout for impaired drivers.
The high visibility blitzes are paid for by a grant the sheriff’s office received from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. This grant allows extra patrol to enforce the traffic laws that will increase the safety of motorists on the roadway in the areas that are prone to a higher number of serious and fatal crashes.
