Richard Rosebrook, 80

Richard Alan Rosebrook, age 80, of Stryker, died suddenly Sunday, January 04, 2015 in Community Hospitals and Welleness Center, Bryan, Ohio. He was born April 1, 1934 in Morenci, Michigan to the late Harold and Glennabell (VanSickle) Rosebrook. He married Helen I. Taylor on July 25, 1953 and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2007. Richard was a 40 year employee at Borden Chemical Company, Morenci, Michigan retiring as a Manager of the business. Over the years he was also a farmer, a Little League and Babe Ruth coach in Morenci. He was a avid outdoorsman. Following his retirement, he worked part-time at the Riverside Greens Golf Course, in Stryker, Ohio. Richard was a graduate of Morenci High School and served in the National Guard.

Survivors, sons, Robb and Linda Rosebrook, Stryker, Ohio. Tim and Jodi Rosebrook, Morenci, Michigan. Paul and Kathy Rosebrook, Hardy, Arkansas. Daughter, Linda and Kim Taylor, West Unity, Ohio. 9 grandchildren. 13 Great-grandchildren.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Paul Rosebrook, of Pikeville, Kentucky.

Memorial service 12:00 noon Saturday, January 10, 2015, in Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio. Rev. Dane Meuschke officiating. Interment will be in Packard Cemetery, rural Morenci, Michigan. Friends may call in the Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker, Ohio 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Saturday.
