The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
It happened Sunday morning just after 5 in Lucas County.
43 year old Tommy Rogers of Sylvania, was walking on the north side of U.S. 20 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 27 year old Thomas Garcia, of Holland, Ohio. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in Garcia’s vehicle, 25 year old Amanda King, also of Holland, was injured.
Garcia fled the scene but was later found. Investigators are trying to determine if Garcia was impaired at the time of the collision.
