Earth Day is this week, but a Bryan business does its part every day to help protect the environment. WiltonKeck Recycling started up last year and, in eight months of operation, has recycled about 115 tons of paper material, the equivalent of about 2,000 trees. They’ve also sent over 200,000 pounds of cardboard to mills for recycling into paper in that timeframe. In other words, every month or so, WiltonKreck is sending out 45,000 pounds of recyclables. The company aims to be a one-stop shop for recycling as they also handle metal and plastic materials.
