Tap Fees To Be Waived In Montpelier

Good news for anyone wanting to expand their business in Montpelier… Water tap fees will be waived for at least one business in the village. At Monday’s meeting, Montpelier Village Council voted unanimously to waive tap fees for Moore Industries on Hendricks Drive, which is expanding at the site. A new water line needs to be run for the new building’s restroom, and according to the Bryan Times, although boring and construction costs will be the responsibility of the business, water tap fees will be covered by the village in a show of support for the business.
