An Ashley man was sentenced to four years behind bars on Monday in Steuben Circuit Court after he entered a guilty plea to a Class C felony of Operating a Motor Vehicle after a Lifetime Suspension. Arthur James Moore was charged in connection with an incident in March of 2014. He could have gotten as much as six years in prison. A second charge of Operating While Intoxicated was dismissed by prosecutors as part of the plea deal. Also, Moore was given credit for 166 days already served. If he qualifies, Moore will be able to serve his time in Community Corrections.
