Flood Warnings!

The National Weather Service has extended Flood Warnings for northeast Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan into this morning after emergency management reported widespread flooding across much of the area on Sunday night. Two to five inches of rain fell on our area Saturday, which led to widespread flooding. Major flooding has been forecast for Stryker, where the river was expected to crest 5 1/2 feet above the 11 foot flood stage early this morning. Henry County is under a State of Emergency. Moderate flooding is expected at Defiance where the river is not expected to drop below flood stage until Wednesday afternoon. Moderate flooding is expected near Napoleon and near Montpelier where the river is expected to crest one foot above flood stage on Wednesday morning.
