New Williams Prosecutor Named

Katherine Zartman has been named Interim Williams County Prosecutor. Zartman’s appointment comes following the resignation of former county prosecutor Kirk Yosick, who left to take a position as general council to a private Toledo company. Zartman, who has been an assistant county prosecutor since 2008, was sworn in on Thursday in the Williams County Courthouse. The Bryan Times reports that Zartman will serve as interim prosecutor until the Williams County Republican Party Central Committee either conirms her appointment, or selects a different

prosecutor to fill out Yosick’s unexpired term, which ends Dec. 31, 2016.
