Carolina Trejo, 78 of Wauseon, peacefully passed away late Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Wauseon School System for 20 years. Carolina also enjoyed cooking, working in her flowerbeds and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Trejo was born in San Antonio , Texas on May 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Serapio and Leonor (Marez) Casas. She married Richard Trejo on November 13, 1964, and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Raymond Ramirez, Sylvia Trejo , Rachel (Joe Perez) Trejo, Elena (Doug) Kutzli and John (Stephanie) Trejo, all of Wauseon. And grandchildren, Chelsea Rockey, Jacob and Madison Trejo , Jordan and Noah Stickley and Joseph Perez. Three sisters and four brothers also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, August 17, 2015 at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Sauder. Interment will follow at the Pettisville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 pm.
