New firehouse needed

The Ney Vil­lage Coun­cil is work­ing with the Wash­ing­ton Town­ship Trustees to deter­mine where to put a new vil­lage fire­house. Coun­cil­man Adam Coy will work on a com­mit­tee to make that deci­sion, and deter­mine how to do it. The Coun­cil is look­ing for a vil­lage res­i­dent to help out, serve on the com­mit­tee and make rec­om­men­da­tions. The present build­ing is out of date and can’t be expanded prop­erly for a mod­ern fire­house, accord­ing to the Council.
