A New Levy Sought In Defiance

A renewal levy request by Defiance’s Board of Developmental Disabilities is approved by county commissioners. The board’s request for commissioners’ to place an additional 0.5-mill, five-year levy on the November ballot along with a 0.85-mill, six-year renewal levy was turned down last month. The levy is set to expire at the of end of 2019.
