Albert Franklin “Frank” Marks, 83

Albert Franklin “Frank” Marks, age 83, of Edon, Ohio and formerly of LaGrange, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his residence in Edon, Ohio. Frank served in the US Army from 1956-1959 and was a Private First Class. He worked on the Great Lakes as a Merchant Marine. He sailed on the freighters G.G. Post, W.W. Holloway and the Armco. He then became a Boilermaker with Local 85 and worked for Merce Boiler and Welding Company and the Kuhlman Corp. Frank enjoyed nature, trucks and motorcycles.

Albert “Frank” Marks was born on November 9, 1938, in LaGrange, Indiana, the son of Carl J. and Margaret (Adair) Marks. He went to school in LaGrange, Indiana. He married in 1963, had three children and resided in Point Place, a suburb of Toledo, Ohio.

Frank is survived by his children, son, Terry Marks and daughters, Denise Marks and Alicia Shelton; grandchildren, Terry, Troy, Lindsey and Ashley and great grandchildren, Emma and Everett. He was preceded in death by his parents, all six of his siblings and his beloved dog, Lucy.

Honoring Frank’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services held at this time. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio has been entrusted with his services.

Frank was a man who proudly believed and honored God, country and family. He will be missed by all of those who knew him and loved him.
