Alcohol believed to be a factor in a Saturday morning crash

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says that alcohol is believed to be a factor in a Saturday morning crash that injured three people. Authorities and emergency personal responded to a reported crash at County Road 400 West in the area of 600 South around 6 a.m. Investigating Officers say 24-year-old Kyle Hall of Angola was operating an SUV going Northbound on 400 West, when the vehicle went off the east side of the road. Police reports indicated that Hall over-corrected, bringing the vehicle back onto the roadway causing the vehicle to slide off the west side of the road where it hit an embankment. Hall’s vehicle rolled several times before coming to a rest. Hall along with his passengers, 14-year-old Bonnie McGee and 14-year-old Destiny Bowman, both from Angola, were transported to Parkview Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries by Steuben County EMS.
