Alcohol Suspected As Behind Weekend Crash

Police say alcohol is likely behind a weekend crash that sent two men to area hospitals.

The Ohio Highway Patrol says the one vehicle crash happened Saturday night just before 10 when 28 year old

Donald Kendall of Bryan, was westbound on Fulton County Road N near Ohio 66 in Gorham Township, and ran off the right side of the road. His vehicle flipped.

A passenger, 24 year old John Phillips of Defiance, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.

Kendall was flown, via medical helicopter, to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Phillips was also flown from the scene to Toledo Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
