Alice Jean Breininger, age 78, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Community Health and Wellness Centers-Bryan where she had been a patient. Alice had worked as an assembler at the Ohio Art company for many years then worked at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton where she retired as Laundry Supervisor. She was a member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233, loved playing Bingo and had been a champion trap shooter competing in events all across the country.
Born June 24, 1936 in Williams County, Alice Jean was the daughter of Bernard J. and Henrietta M. (Miller) Goebel. On February 16, 1955, she married Donald E. Breininger in Edgerton and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Richard Breininger and Marla Stevenson; two grandchildren, Heather and Leslie; two great granddaughters; three brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert Goebel and sister Janet Olds.
In accordance with her wishes, funeral services will be private. Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton has been entrusted with her arrangements.
