Ann Lee Deepe, 82 years, of Bryan passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Ohio’s Hospice Butler and Warren Counties, Franklin, Ohio with her family by her side. Ann was born August 31, 1935 in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orville and Blanche (Eitenier) Hohenberger. She was a 1953 graduate of Defiance High School. Ann married Charles Lewis Deepe on January 17, 1959 in Defiance, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1998. She began working as an admission clerk at Bryan Hospitals in November of 1988 and retired after 15 years in September of 2004. She enjoyed volunteering at the hospital until her passing. Ann was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was very active serving on the church council. In her free time, Ann enjoyed tending her flower garden and enjoyed the outdoors. She especially cherished her time she spent with her family and friends.
Surviving are her two children, Diane (Robert) Hetz of Springboro, Ohio and Thomas (Barbara) Deepe of Leipsic, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) Mosier of Mason, Ohio, Amy (Corey) Straight of Hillard, Ohio, Alaina Deepe of Leipsic, Ohio and , Corey Deepe of Bowling Green, Ohio; six great-grandchildren, Gavin, Noah, Aspen, and Alexis Mosier, Avery and Colton Straight; one sister, Emmajean Stork of Defiance, Ohio. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Deepe; two grandsons, Michael Hetz and Austin Deepe; three brothers, Darwood Hohenberger, Darleen Hohenberger, and Cleon Hohenberger.
Visitation for Ann Lee Deepe will be held Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. in Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home- Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 509 Center Street, Bryan with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn Officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ney. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
