Annabelle Mae Baumgartner, 86

Annabelle Mae Baumgartner, 86 years, of Bryan, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 15, 2016 in her residence. Annabelle was born January 1, 1930, in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ralph and Flossie (Roth) Todd. She was a 1948 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Wauseon High School where she was the valedictorian of her class. Annabelle served as the secretary for First Lutheran Church in Bryan for 10 years. She also worked for an Appraiser for Real Estate Transactions in the Williams County Courthouse. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan. Annabelle served as a volunteer in the Gift Shop at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan. An avid Bridge player, Annabelle was a member of two different Bridge Clubs. She enjoyed reading, but she thoroughly loved to spend time with her son David and his family in Texas, especially investing in the lives of her grandchildren, and making memories with them.

Surviving is her son, David and his wife, Riham Baumgartner of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Lana Baumgartner of Austin, Texas and Ryan Baumgartner, a student at the University of Texas, of Houston, Texas; one sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Todd of New Haven, Indiana; one niece, Jill (Tom) Fisher and one nephew, Marc Todd; great-nephew, Rick Todd of New Haven, Indiana and one great-niece, Carly Todd, also of New Haven, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kenneth Todd, formerly of Delta, Ohio and James Todd, formerly of New Haven, Indiana.

Graveside Committal services for Annabelle Mae Baumgartner will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Wauseon Union Cemetery, Wauseon, Ohio. Memorial Services for Annabelle Mae Baumgartner will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Wesley United Methodist Church, 903 Center Street, Bryan, with Rev. Dwight Bowers, officiating. Visitation for Annabelle Mae Baumgartner will be held Friday, May 20, 2016 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
