Another Swing And A Miss For Aquafer Plan

Someone else doesn’t like the aquifer plan. The Williams County Mayors Association voted to oppose the proposal to drill into it. The motion was set to oppose plans of Artesian of Pioneer to pump up to 14 million gallons of water from the aquifer and sell it to communities outside the area. The mayors of Edon, Bryan, Montpelier, Edgerton, West Unity, Stryker and Holiday City all voted in favor of the motion to oppose the plan.
