Arps Dairy to stop making products for retail sale.

Arps Dairy’s decision to stop making products for retail sales was a difficult one for the company, but seen as the only option “to stay viable,” according to the business’ top official. In a Facebook post last week, Arps announced that it would stop making the products it has sold in local and area stores for years. These include milk in various sizes as well as chip dip and cottage cheese. The products will disappear from store shelves sometime in mid-March. A decrease in milk consumption and increased production costs were cited as reasons.
