Attempted Robbery Reported In Defiance

An attempted rob­bery at a con­ve­nience store in Defi­ance.… It hap­pend on Thurs­day night at Keck’s Mar­ket on South Jef­fer­son Avenue, when just before 11pm, two men came in and demanded cash. Accord­ing to police, they didn’t get any, and the two then took off on foot. A Defi­ance County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit was called in to try to track them down, but it wasn’t suc­cess­ful. Nobody was hurt in the attempted rob­bery, and so far, no arrests have been made.
