Deadly Crash Near Auburn

An Auburn man dies in a crash. Officials say William Nelson’s truck left the roadway on West Auburn Drive, along I-69. First responders found Nelson pinned inside the damaged vehicle. Two power poles were knocked down in the crash. Officials are still investigating the accident at this hour.

A semi catches on fire on the road. Steuben County deputies are dispatched to I-69, in the area of Mile Marker 345 for a trailer brake fire. Firefighters from Angola extinguished the flames.
