A Putnam County couple is badly hurt following a motorcycle crash on County Road M, west of County Road 6 in Riley Township. Officers say they couldn’t avoid a deer on the roadway. David Birkemeier and his wife, Amy Birkemeier are in serious condition, the man at a Lima area hospital…the woman, in Toledo, getting care.
