Barbara A. Cupps, 71, of Mark Center, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Barb was born April 2, 1951, in Troy, Ohio, daughter of the late, John T. and Alice M. (Rupert) Meiring. She married the love of her life, Marvin E. Cupps on April 18, 1970, in St. Paris, Ohio. Barb worked at Johns Manville, Defiance, Ohio for 31 years until her retirement. Barb cherished spending time with her family. Nothing made her happier than hosting a family meal and gathering with the ones she loved. Barb especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She could often be found going to garage sales.
Surviving is her husband of 52 years, Marvin Cupps of Mark Center, Ohio; three sons, John Cupps of Bryan, Ohio, Gary (Lacy) Cupps of Angola, Indiana, and Scott (Jennifer) Cupps of Ney, Ohio; six grandchildren, Brittney Cupps, Megan (Sam) Cupps, Dustin Cupps, Tory Cupps, Tiffany Cupps, and Emily Cupps; three great-grandchildren, Piper Cupps, Austin Cupps, and Zander Cupps; three sisters, Marsha (William) Moore of Westville, Ohio, Patty (Sammy) Rucker of Defiance, Ohio, and Mary Sheet of Springfield, Ohio; three brothers, Sam (Amy) Ryan of Mansfield, Ohio, Richard (Cindy) Ryan of St. Paris, Ohio, and Donald (Tonya) Purk of Urbana, Ohio.
Visitation for Barb will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan with Memorial Services beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor William Moore officiating.
