Barbara Jeske, 63

Barbara A. Jeske, 63 years, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, in the emergency room at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan.  Barbara was born June 25, 1951 in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ashley and Ruby (Bashor) Sutton.  She was a 1970 graduate of North Central High School.  She then attended God’s Bible School in Cincinnati and Northwest Community College in Archbold, Ohio.  Barbara married Lynn V. Jeske on September 26, 1983 in Bryan, and he survives.  Barbara was a homemaker as well as a dependable day care provider for many children.  She attended South Woodbridge Pentecostal Church of God in Camden, Michigan.  Barbara loved children and enjoyed providing care for them and spending time with her own daughter and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Lynn, Barbara is survived by her daughter, Beverly E. Randall and her companion, Alex Livingston of Greenville, South Carolina; two grandsons, Kaleb M. and Dylan A. Randall, both of Greenville, South Carolina; one brother, Edwin W. (Sue) Sutton of Kunkle, Ohio; Father-in-law, Bernard G. Jeske of Jacksonville, Florida; brother-in-law, Christopher J. (JoAnn) Jeske of Binghamton, New York; sister-in-law, Katheryn A. Jeske of Jacksonville, Florida and several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her special friend, Jona Murray.  She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Alberta S. Sutton.

Visitation for Barbara A. Jeske will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 with Pastor Jim Hibbard officiating.  Interment will follow in Shiffler Cemetery, rural Bryan.

In Lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or the Lupus Foundation.
