Barry Albert Biard, age 71, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:02 P.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, where he had been a patient since Monday. Mr. Biard was a1962 graduate of Rich East High School in Park Forest, Illinois, and attended Thornton Junior College. He was employed as a Quality Control Manager for Winzeler Stamping in Bryan and had also been employed at Midwest Stamping in Edgerton in the same capacity. His memberships included the American Association of Quality Control and First Lutheran Church in Bryan, where he was an active member.
Barry Albert Biard was born on July 18, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Houston Clay and Marie (Tucker) Biard, Sr. He married Claudia A. Freitag on December 12, 1970, in Elmhurst, Illinois, and she survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Susan (Jason) Worgull, of Parma Heights, Ohio; one son, Matthew (Crystal D. Zehr) Biard, of Edgerton; two grandchildren, Alexander and Hannah Worgull, of Parma Heights; one brother, Lee (Joy) Biard, of Lenexa, Kansas; one sister, Pamela (Porter) Pickren, of Lee, Florida; and two nephews, Bradley and Jeffrey Biard. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Houston Clay Biard, Jr.
Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. in the First Lutheran Church in Bryan with Pastor Doug Gunkleman officiating. Grave side services and interment will follow at 1:30 P.M. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
