Jennifer Basselman, superintendent of the Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities has announced her resignation, effective July 7. She notified President Mike Elkins in a letter on June 8 that she intended to leave the agency for personal reasons in 30 days. Basselman was appointed to the position a little more than three years ago, beginning June 1, 2019. She came after serving as business manager for the Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Deb Guilford has a three-month contract to serve as the interim superintendent while the board searches for its next permanent one. Basselman had replaced Guilford, who retired after a 42-year career.
