Betty E. Kennedy, age 89, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:00 P.M. on Friday, November 10, 2017, in her home. Mrs. Kennedy was a graduate of 1946 Edgerton High School and had formerly owned and operated the Plaza Motel in Bryan with her husband and son for nineteen years.
Betty E. Kennedy was born on July 21, 1928, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Claron E. and Bessie E. (Henney) Steele. She married Harley D. Kennedy, Jr. on June 5, 1954, in Edgerton, Ohio and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2006.
Survivors include one son, David Kennedy, of Bryan; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Charles V. Steele.
In keeping with Betty’s requests there will be no visitation and services will be private. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton.
Memorials are requested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
