Betty J. Edwards, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:25 A.M. on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, after a brief illness. Mrs. Edwards was a homemaker and lifelong area resident.
Betty J. Edwards was born on June 3, 1935, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Mary Mabel (Ford) Bigger. Survivors included her husband, Guy “Bill” Edwards, of Bryan; two daughters, Cindy Strouse, of Bryan, and Christina (Wendell) Moore, of Cordova, Tennessee; three sons, Mike (Tonya) Strouse, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kenny (Diane) Strouse, of Mocksville, North Carolina, and Ronnie (Connie) Strouse, of Wildwood, Florida; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, David and Randy Strouse, four brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Interment will be in West Buffalo Cemetery, near Edgerton.
