Betty J. Robbins, age 75, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Genesis HealthCare-Bryan Center. Betty worked in the housekeeping department of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. She was a member of Bryan First Presbyterian Church and had sung with the choir. She was also a member of the Bryan Eagles and Iota Beta sorority.
Betty was born on January 3, 1942, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Emma (Katerman) German. Betty is survived by her sons, Jon (Karen) Robbins, of Dallas, Texas, Sean (Valerie) Robbins, of Riverside, California, and Robert (Misty) Bowman; daughter, Lori (Thomas) Keekley; grandchildren, Josh Robbins, Cassandra Brainard, Harris and Alex Keekley, Robert, John and Colt Bowman; great-granddaughter, Elora Brainard; sisters, Emma Jane (Ronnie) Orr, of Eaton, Colorado, and Doris Ann (George) Wessel, Sr., of Auburn, Indiana; and close friend, Jennifer Wagner, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Jon Michael Robbins.
In accordance with Betty’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at in the spring. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
