Betty L. Pocratsky, 90

Betty L. Pocratsky, 90 years of Hicksville, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Betty was born July 28, 1932, in Antwerp, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul Wesley and Orpha Naomi (Shaw) Overmyer. She was a 1950 graduate of Antwerp High School. Betty married Stanley J. Pocratsky on March 24, 1956, and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2016. Betty was a secretary for Landmark for 20 years. She also worked at Community Memorial Hospital for 10 years. Betty was a member of the Hicksville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  She attended St. Michael Catholic Church. Betty loved her family and followed all the athletic and academic endeavors of her children and grandchildren,

Surviving are her five children, Val (Brad) Peter of Hicksville, Mick (Pam) Pocratsky of Hicksville, Mark (Carol) Pocratsky of Valparaiso, Indiana, Susan Gonwick of Hicksville and Laine (Beau) Cummins of Mark Center, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Andrew Peter and Matthew (Becky) Pocratsky, Toni (James) Egly, Aimee (Dan) Santiago, Ryan (Emily) Pocratsky, Amanda Pocratsky, Halie (Thomas) Gospodareck, Boyer, Mckenzie and Landry Gonwick, Skyler (Katelyn) McCarty and Corey McCarty; 13 great-grandchildren, Elijah Egly, Evan and Noah Santiago, Katherine and Madeline Gospodareck, Evie, Bella and Saoirse Pocratsky;, Wyatt & Macy McCarty, Meadow Pocratsky, Noah & Theo Lilly; one brother, Lee (Joanne) Overmyer of Bluffton, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Stan; three sisters, Doris Conner, Helen Overmyer and Phyllis Hart; two brothers, Rex Overmyer and Jack Overmyer.

Betty donated her body to the University of Toledo Department of Anatomy. There will be no visitation or services at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, Hicksville.
