Beverly A. (Goodrich) Snyder, 78, of Bryan, Ohio, and formerly of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Bryan Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Beverly was born August 27, 1946, in Garrett, Indiana, daughter of the late Ralph A. and Lois M. (McCool) Goodrich. She was a 1964 graduate of Salem Center High School, then continued her education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and Masters degree from Indiana University. Beverly married Elton L. Snyder on April 24, 1987, in the historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hicksville, and he preceded her in death on December 4, 2003. A life-long learner herself, Beverly was a proud elementary teacher, educating the next generation of students. She was a member of the La Fleur De Terre Garden Club in Hicksville, and enjoyed volunteering at Camp Alexander Mack in Milford, Indiana. Beverly’s quest for knowledge took to many places over the course of her life.
Surviving are two sisters, Eleanor Gregory of Hudson, Indiana, and Helen (John) Bunnell of Cumming, Georgia; a niece and two nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Elton.
Private interment will take place at Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville.
