Beverly Jane Bryan-Fox, 69, of Middletown, Maryland, formerly of Sherwood, Ohio, died February 10, 2016 at her home. She was the loving wife of 34 years to Herbert B. Fox. Beverly was born on January 6, 1947 in Mark Center, Ohio, the daughter of the late Louis and Ann (Nagy) Bryan. She was a 1965 graduate of Fairview High School near Sherwood, Ohio. Beverly was employed as a waitress at The Vagabond Restaurant in Cecil, Ohio. She had also worked as a secretary for the B & O Railroad Chessie System in Defiance, Ohio. Jane was a babysitter for various children of neighbors and loved ones and she was an avid baker for The Farmers Market in Middletown, Maryland. Nonnie enjoyed spending time in the kitchen teaching grandchildren her tricks of baking, watching her beloved birds and using her green thumb to grow and nurture her many varieties of plants.
In addition to her husband, Herbert, Beverly is survived by her five children and their spouses: Joseph (Jana) Lucas of Sherwood, Ohio, Scott (Rhonda) Lucas of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jonathan Lucas of Middletown, Maryland, Michael Woodhaull of Lindsburg, Kansas, Terri Bohl of Lorain, Ohio; one son-in-law, Thomas Lender of Wellington, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, Brayden, Kailee, Riley, Tayla, Bryan, Trystin and Casey Lucas, Christopher Lender, Matt Rousseau, Shelly Bohl, Ethan and Kelsey Woodhaull; four sisters, Lou Ann (William) Cline of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Mary Ellen Garley (Bill Reffitt) and Barbara Jean (Paul) Troeger all of Sherwood, Ohio, Patricia (Vernon) Haase of Hicksville, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Bryan and Robert Bryan both of Sherwood, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two children, Vivian Jo Lender and Steve Woodhaull.
Visitation for Beverly Jane Bryan-Fox will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood. Funeral services for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Doseck officiating. Interment will follow in Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio.
