Beverly D. (Burkhart) Perdue, age 62, of Defiance passed away Monday December 15, 2014 at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo following an extended illness.
Mrs. Perdue was born in Defiance on October 28, 1952 the daughter of the late Alvin and the late Dorothy Burkhart. Beverly was strong in her faith and enjoyed sharing it with others. She also liked yellow roses, decorating her home and finding treasures at garage sales.
Surviving is her son; Jason of Defiance, four sisters; Rita Burkhart of Stryker, Patricia Burkhart of Stryker, Lois Teegardin of Sherwood, Cheryl Pfaff of Napoleon, brother; Charles Burkhart of Defiance, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Family Christian Center in Defiance. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com.
