Big Changes On The Way For Premier Area Hotel

Changes are in store for one area hotel… The Ramada Montpelier Hotel and Conference Center, according to the Bryan Times, will change its name and franchise affiliation to the Quality Inn & Suites.

The name change, which will take effect later this year, is part of a total renovation to the 160-room hotel and conference center at Exit 13 on the Ohio Turnpike.

Each individual room in the hotel will be updated and modernized, and the 40 rooms currently with in-room hot tubs will be upgraded with special business-class amenities, which include keeping the hot tubs.

The hotel’s franchise agreement with Ramada is up in September.

To earn the Quality Inn designation, the hotel must renovate at least 70 of the rooms, and that could be completed by the third quarter of this year. The target for the completion of the entire project is the end of this year.

The hotel was originally built in 1974.
