Big Expansion Planned In Hicksville

Defi­ance County Com­mis­sion­ers on Wednes­day, approved a $70,000 Revolv­ing Loan Fund agree­ment for a Hicksville busi­ness that is expand­ing it’s oper­a­tions there. The agree­ment will now allow A&P Tool Inc., to acquire machin­ery and equip­ment for it’s planned expan­sion and growth.

A&P in Hicksville, is plan­ning to add a 14,000-square-foot addi­tion to its exist­ing facil­ity, which trans­lates into 25 new jobs. Addi­tional grant money from Job­sO­hio and the Ohio Depart­ment of Transportation’s Divi­sion of Jobs and Com­merce, is also expected to come in to finance future phases of the project.
